  1. General remarks

    What are personal data
    Personal data means any information that discloses or can disclose the identity of the user. We adhere to the principle of data avoidance. Wherever possible, we dispense with the collection of personal data.

    Handling of personal data
    Personal data are used solely in connection with the establishment, content-related design, or execution and implementation of the contractual relationship (Art. 6 I b General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).  As a matter of principle, they shall not be transmitted to third parties. The data shall be transmitted to the shipping company entrusted with the delivery merely for the purpose of the performance of the contract, as far as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.  For the handling of payments, the payment data necessary for this purpose shall be transmitted to the financial institution entrusted with the payment and, where applicable, to the authorized and selected payment service provider. Your personal data shall be processed exclusively within the EU.

    Usage data
    When the website is visited, general technical information is recorded. These data include the IP address used, the time and duration of the visit, the browser type, and, where applicable, the referring site. For technical reasons, these usage data are registered in a log file and may be used and saved for the purpose of the statistical evaluation of this website.  These usage data are not linked with your further personal data in any way.

    Duration of data storage
    After the purpose for which the data are recorded has ended, we save your personal data only as long as this is necessary due to statutory (in particular tax-legal) provisions.

  2. Your rights

    Right to information   
    You shall have the right to obtain from us information as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, if so, be informed about these personal data and the further information specified in Art.  15 GDPR.

    Right to rectification 
    You shall have the right to request the rectification of any inaccurate personal data concerning you and,  according to Art. 16 GDPR, you may request the completion of incomplete personal data.

    Right to erasure 
    You shall have the right to demand from us the immediate erasure of the personal data concerning you. We are obliged to erase these data without undue delay, in particular whenever one of the following reasons applies:

    • Your personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
    • You withdraw your consent on which the processing of your data was based and there is no other legal ground for the processing.
    • Your data were unlawfully processed.

    The right to erasure does not apply if your personal data are necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of our legal claims.

    Right to restrict processing   
    You have the right to demand that we restrict the processing of your personal data if

    • you contest the accuracy of the data and we therefore verify the accuracy,
    • the processing is unlawful, and you oppose the erasure of your personal data and request the restriction of their use instead,
    • we no longer need the data, but you need them for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims,
    • if you have filed an objection to the processing of your data and it has not yet been determined whether our legitimate reasons outweigh your reasons.

    Right to data transferability 
    You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format. In addition, you have the right to pass these data on to another person in charge without any obstruction by us, provided that the processing is based on consent or on a contract and the processing is carried out by us by means of automated methods.

    Right of revocation   
    If the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you shall have the right to revoke this consent at any time.

    General remarks and right to appeal
    As a matter of principle, the exercise of your aforementioned rights is free of charge for you. In case of appeals, you have the right to directly contact the supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commissioner of the Federal Land responsible for us.

  3. Data security

    Data security 
    All data on our website are protected by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification and distribution. However, we do not assume any liability for the destruction and damaging of data.

    Sessions and cookies
    For the operation of the internet presence, we can use cookies or server-side sessions in which data might be stored. In this context, cookies are used for a personal greeting with the user name, amongst other things. Cookies are small files that are saved by a website to your hard drive to recognize this computer automatically in case of the next website visit. In this way, the use of the website can be adapted to you. Some of the cookies used are deleted at the end of the browser session again. These are so-called session cookies. Other cookies remain on your computer and allow a browser recognition during your next visit to our website (permanent cookies). You can configure your browser so as to be informed about the placement of cookies, to be able to decide whether you wish to accept cookies in individual or certain cases, or to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or generally. However, please note that the deactivation or rejection of cookies may restrict the functionality of this website. We ensure that no personal data are taken over from sessions or by cookies and that cookies are only used if this is necessary for the website. After weighing the individual aspects, we have come to the conclusion that there aren't any overriding, conflicting interests on your part (Art. 6 I f GDPR).
